GT Avalanche 3.0
The bike has a strong frame. It came with cheap components but you get what you pay for. I endedup upgrading the front shock (recon), brakes, seat, tires. Over all I am happy with the bike. It is fine for entry level and upgradeable.

I am looking at putting xtr or x.0 components on it, but like I said the lx components are amazing and will keep me entertained for some time to come. Last thing is the frame is just beautifully designed and looks very expensive and makes you feel just great to own a bike like THIS!!! Ps- the bike only weighs about 23.5 pounds!!!

Avid Black Ops Single Digit Ultimate
the best rim brake i found, and better than many disk's.
they are light, sexy, amazing stopping power and modulation, simple to clean and adjust.
and the best part is avids costumer service.
these brakes work very well,lots of power,no slop in any of the parts yet.

This is a light bike and has a smooth ride. I had a problem with the suspension cartridges but nothing the shop couldnt take care of.

Avid Spead Dial 5
These are the levers that came stock with my bike, and so far, I am very pleased with them. All the adjustments I could really want, excellent feel through the levers themselves.I believe that I should swap out the rear brake cable before judging, so that remains to be seen.

Yeti ARC
This is the best bike I have ridden. I went from a hardtail to a FS racing bike, and noticed I chose horrible lines. The FS was heavy and didn't climb as well.
This bike is extremely light, responsive, and climbs like a goat

GT Avalanch
I own a hard tail and full suspension. I prefer to ride my FS however my GT hard tail has been an excellent bike. I upgraded the fork, brakes, seat, bars and tires over time but it has been a good all around performer. A little heavy but a trusty steed.
