Seat Post
U.S.E. XCR Suspension seatpost My views that use this parts to smooth out rough trails, make your stoker willing to ride again or gain control during cross season.

Ascent Rebound Suspension Seatpost
I mounted this on my MTB after riding some rough trails. Now the trails are smoother and my body can really feel the difference.

Ritchey Comp Road Seatpost
Could be a little longer. Overall for the price it's a good way to drop a few grams and matches well with other Ritchey parts.

Forté Precision Seatpost
I got this for my road bike because my old seat post didn't have an adjustable tilt; so I was sliding forward doing the permanent push up. This seat post has at least solved that issue.

Crank Brothers Joplin SE Seatpost
Just pull or push the lever that mounts underneath your saddle for 75mm of instantaneous adjustment. Increase your seat height for maximum pedaling power when climbing

This thing is amazing. i was just Going back to a hard tail after 4 years on a soft tail with 1.25" travel and another thing, as others have mentioned: looks and craftsmanship are superb.

American Classic Ti Seatpost
nice ride, finish, easy to assemble, shiney and purdee, cheap, light! The bottom line is that this seatpost does what it is supposed to do. I can't see why other people have had trouble with it.

American Classic Two-Piece Post
It will probably work loose at the join between the post and the posthead and then swivel just when you donot want it to. Looks like there is a rivet that holds the two together.

Bolts hold tension on seat rails ok. pretty sturdy

Answer Rocker
this seatpost is junk! in the last year i have broken three of them. all of them have broken in the same spot right at the point that the clamp and the post come together. answer keeps replaceing them but still when you pay the kind of money that they cost they should not brake. i am easy on parts plus it is on a full suspinsion bike.

Clamp is exceptionally easy to adjust, can adjust tilt without affecting fore/aft movement, seatpost stays tight and never squeaks

Bontrager Comp
This seatpost came on my trek 8000 when i bought it. At first the seatpost worked absolutely fine. After a few months when I would be riding and i hit a rock.
fairly light, really cheap, strong

Bontrager Race Lite Seat post
This seat post is well crafted from butted Easton EA70 AL. The clamping mechanisum is nicely designed, making saddle adjustments a breeze - simply tweak a pair of bolts to set the required saddle angle. looks, good saddle clamp design

Bontrager Select
This is an excellent, beefy post. I replaced this post because the stock one was to short. I got the 400mm one as my seat height increased when I learned how to properly adjust my riding height.
This seatpost is relatively easy on the eyes, light, and does not slip.

Cannondale Coda 900 Shockpost
This thing ROCKS. It should be stated that I am refering to the new, improved 45 needle bearing job. Yes, its more money,The suspension seat post from Cannondale is useful when you do a big drop and you fork bottoms out and your legs soak up the hit as far as they go.

X-Lite Matrix XLR Series Cross Country
Just about the worst and saddest post I've ever owned. Expensive junk. The clamp needs a total redesign for it to ever really work properly.
Its light and I got it cheap.

Thomson Masterpiece
Seat posts are tricky. Are they worth it? I spent the money for a Thomson but all I noticed was that I now have less money...
